Pick up from the factory:

All the cubbies can be collected from our Fairfield (VIC) factory at no charge.

We supply them in a flat pack form (see pictures below.) Usually they fit on top of a 6x4 trailer or bigger (no cage, no bar!).

We will forklift them onto the trailer for you. You will need to tie them down. Don't forget to bring rope (no ockky straps.)

If you are getting the optional elevation kit, check with us as the shipping dimensions will change.

Please note that we do not have storage facilities.

Purchases must be collected within 7 days of completion. A $10 per day storage fee will apply thereafter.

We thank you for your understanding.

We can deliver anywhere in Australia.

Interstate deliveries are to Toll NQX' closest depot in most major cities.

Melbourne deliveries are to your door using Civic Couriers. Usually from $190

Of course you can bring a trailer (at least 6x4 with no cage) and  take your cubby home!

Talk to us on (03)  9489 4377 for an exact freight quote.

Alternatively, we are always ready to work with your own freight arrangements. We will work with your agent happily.

Please note that in most instances, you will receive a very large item, usually in excess of 200 kg.  To accept delivery of the cubby, you will need at least 2 people capable of unloading by hand from the delivery van. In most cases the driver will be quite happy to assist, but they do reserve the right to refuse due to OH&S concerns. This applies mainly to Melbourne metro deliveries.

Please note: All sales are final. While in many cases we can change an order after it is placed, we cannot issue refunds of money paid if you change your mind. As we are only a small family business we ask that you choose carefully before confirming your order. Thank you.

Flat pack:

We ship all our cubbies in a 'flat pack' form.  The 4 walls are placed on top of the floor (this way we use the floor as a 'shipping pallet') and we put the roof on top of the lot.

Overall size varies depending of the cubbies but as a rule, the flat pack size is around 1.8 m x 2.6m x 0.7 m high.

The total weight of the package is around 200 to 250 kg.

The walls and roof sections are up to 30 to 40 kg each and the floor can be 70 kg or so...

If you reside in Melbourne metro area, we may provide an installation service, subject to workload and distance.

We are unable to provide installation on 1.2m or 1.5m elevation kits.

Assembly instructions:

All relevant instructions are supplied with the cubby.

Caring for your cubby:

We strongly recommend that you paint, stain or oil your cubby within 2 weeks of receiving it.

The cubbies may contain untreated timber.  As long as the timber is protected (paint, stain, oil) it will cope well with normal backyard conditions. Water or strong humidity should not be allowed to stay in contact with the walls.

The cubby should be placed on flat and level ground. Slabs are not necessary.

We use orange tongue flooring with treated pine bearers under the floor. This allows the cubby to be installed directly on the ground.

A little care will go a long way in ensuring that your cubby brings you years of fun.

Please note:

Unique and individual markings may appear on timber and should not be considered as defects. Instead they give wood a unique identity which enhances its natural beauty.

The timber we use also has marks and a sometimes robust roughness that belies its humble origin. It is however 'fit for purpose' and as the little boy said when his dad patched the knot hole: "Daddy! that was my spy hole!!"
